INTERNSHIP WITH CHANTIER DE L'ECONOMIE SOCIALE

A fourth achievement concerns the internship that I did at "le Chantier de l 'économie sociale", between January and May 2021. Le Chantier de l' économie sociale is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote collective entrepreneurship in Quebec through the vision of a plural economy, whose purpose is the return to the community and the offer of goods and services meeting the needs and aspirations of the communities. The objective of our internship at the Chantier was to document the existing and innovative initiatives focused on the elderly in Quebec and elsewhere, in five important sectors for this population group: housing, transport, recreation, food and caring. I thus created a bank of synthetic information in the form of short presentations for each of the themes. The latter will also contribute to the achievement of objective 1 (synthesis and promotion of knowledge and initiatives) of the TIESS project entitled "vitality of territories and collective entrepreneurship. Potential of the social economy for improving the quality of living environments for seniors ".
